Teabaggers threatening violence against health insurance reform
That we are now firmly involved in what Jacques Ellul called the irreversible, integration/activation phase of a 30 year long corporatist propaganda campaign was on full display today at the nation’s Capitol.
Hundreds of highly agitated Teabaggers, whipped into a frenzy by the demigods of right wing radio and television and a few well-financed astroturf corporatist organizers, swarmed the hallways of Congress demanding that even the greatly watered down health insurance reform bills set for passage in the next week be defeated lest they spell the end of the republic itself.

As our Brian Beutler reports, a few moments ago in the Longworth office building, a group swarmed a very calm looking Henry Waxman, as he got on the elevator, with shouts of “Kill the bill!” “You liar! You crook!”
Huffpo’s Sam Stein reports:
A staffer for Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) told reporters that Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.) had been spat on by a protestor. Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), a hero of the civil rights movement, was called a ‘ni–er.’ And Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) was called a “faggot,” as protestors shouted at him with deliberately lispy screams. Frank, approached in the halls after the president’s speech, shrugged off the incident.
But Clyburn was downright incredulous, saying he had not witnessed such treatment since he was leading civil rights protests in South Carolina in the 1960s.
Georgia Rep Paul Broun yesterday invoked imagery from the Civil War:
If Obamacare passes, that free insurance card that’s in people’s pockets is going to be as worthless as a Confederate dollar after the war between the states — the Great War of Yankee Aggression.
And on Wednesday, Rep. Michelle “Batshit Crazy” Bachmann went so far as to suggest that people not pay their federal taxes if “ObamaCare” passes:
Tea Party favorite Rep. Michele Bachmann (R, Minn.) has urged opponents of ObamaCare to stop paying taxes if the House passes the health care reform bill using “deem and pass,” a controversial procedural shortcut. “They want us to pay for this? We don’t have to,” she said over the weekend. “We don’t have to follow a bill that isn’t law.” Is Bachmann’s advice crazy?

I am not surprised about the brick either. And that it was thrown through a Democratic Woman’s office Window to boot. Well wonders never cease.
I am glad no one was injured. But the coward that did it, probably knew no one was there, and that made him feel all brave and stuff. Vandalism, like other forms of masturbation, often take place where few if any people can see it happen.

Wow couple the lovely gun threats with the video of Teabaggers tormenting a man with Parkinsons in the street, and it paints an oh so lovely picture of just how fucked up, and selfish these people really are. Its all on them at this point. All of it. The Democratic Majority and the Democratic President was voted into office by We the People. So everytime they belch, that no one wants health care reform, I have to harken back to that key component in the Democratic victory over the Grand Old Poops. And you notice that that no new, restrictive, federal gun legislation has been “forced” on us, inspite of the collective cry from tin foil hatters, in bunkers across the nation. I am adding the above picture with the gun, to my collection of pictoral threats of gun violence against Democrats, Liberals, and of course President Obama. Its just more of the same.
When will this part of America stop being so thrilled at being the mulitnational, corporate, pharmaceutical and insurer’s cash cow for the rest of the first world nations that regulate all aspects of the Health Care Industry for sanity’s sake? When?
I find it also Ironic, that once again, these dipshits call people N*ggers and Faggots—and then compare Liberals to Nazis while trying to force, sexual, racial, and religious conformity on the entire nation. That is funny. Sad, but funny.
