Trumping The Bloviating Ignoramus (Update)

Bloviating IgnoramusThe Trumpster, fresh from his latest partial brain-endectomy, announcing his support for Mitt Romney

With the caveat that my combined teevee, phone, and internet feed was down all morning, I’m going with George Poindexter Will for best line of the weekend.

Asked by ABC’s This Morning host George Stephanopolous  to comment on what for me was for me the political WTF moment of the week, Willard Mitt Romney’s‘ gracious acceptance of reality teevee host Donald Trumps‘s endorsement, the Bow Tied One said:

“I do not understand the cost-benefit here. The costs are clear. The benefits – what voter is going to vote for him because he’s seen with Donald Trump? The cost of appearing with this bloviating ignoramus is obvious, it seems to me. Donald Trump is redundant evidence that if your net worth is high enough, your IQ can be very low, and you can still intrude into American politics.

The Donald is a “bloviating ignoramus” with a “very low IQ” intruding “into American politics”?

Couldn’t have said it better ourselves. And for that we salute you, Mr. Will.

UPDATE:  5/28:  The Trumpster responded on the Twitter machine:

George Will may be the dumbest (and most overrated) political commentator of all time.  If the Republicans listen to him, they will lose.
