Life On The World Of The Cross

“REAL” Americans

Palin as Giuliani-in-drag-on-the-ticket, pontificates on Pro-Americans at a Halloween fundraiser gala.

“We believe that the best of America is in these small towns that we get ta visit, and in these wonderful little pockets of what I call the rill America, bein’ here with all of you hard-working, veiry patriotic, veiry pro-America areas of this greyt nation.”
—Sarah Palin

The “REAL” America Sarah Palin enthuses about to small town America as if she were talking to five year old children can best be understood by its two major differences:  yurr Pro-Amerricans, and also yurr Anti-Americans.  Pro Amerricans love America, also Anti-Americans hate America.  Also, Pro-Amerricans love our flag,  Anti-Americans also hate our flag.  Pro-Amerricans also hate terrorists, Anti-Americans arrrrrrrrre Terrorists.  Also.

Liberals hate real Americans that work and accomplish and achieve and believe in God.
—Repuglican Representative Robin Hayes, North Carolina

Real Americans.

Lemme tell you about “REAL” Americans.

Real Americans know shit from shinola.
Real Americans put country before political party.
Real Americans put their personal morality before party.

Real Americans, and their real American values, are always harmonious and synonymous with the highest reality— the universally acclaimed public good— as it is best understood by any of us; anything less would be, hhyeah, un-American.

Real Americans almost always try to embrace this qualitative high bar of reality, and through morals, and ethics, derived from, as John McCain says, our Judeo-Christian principles, Real Americans pursue our collective good destiny before, and in the name of, a Divine Creator.

But what has become the traditional Rovian/Atwater/Buchanan way of winning elections— divide and conquer— is a highly corrosive toxin to the unity of All Americans. [Read more →]

Gimme Some Hypocrisy 101!

Unceasing Exposure of ALL Hypocrites from now on!

Back Off!

Barack Obama:

“Let me be as clear as possible:  I have said before and I will repeat again, I think people’s families are off limits, and people’s children are especially off limits. This shouldn’t be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin’s performance as governor, or her potential performance as a vice president.”

It may be politically correct for Obama as a nominee to say that, but he’s ignoring the real point:  Sarah Palin is a liar.

Obama is correct that the children of a candidate should be outside of the purview of the MSM slime-wad, but the interests of the American people do involve the character and judgment demonstrated by the actions and decisions of candidates. If Sarah “Hold Me Accountable” Palin covered up her daughter’s pregnancy last April, that’s a moral and ethical decision which reveals the worst kind of character flaw; hypocrisy.

So Yeah.

Let the MSM locusts do their job correctly for once, and get to the bottom of the mess McPOW has flung into the political arena.  Obama be chillin’ with the brosefs.

Texas GOP Targets Obama’s Kenyan Half-Brother

“I’m upset,” Kathleen Portalski says. “I’m angry. It makes me feel like a nonperson, kind of.”

Texas GOP Targets Obama’s Kenyan Half-Brother

Ready for some Republican values? The short bus Texas GOP is responsible for the latest demonstration of the ravages of Conservatism, a disease largely found in Republican Americans. The ad, narrated by what sounds like a Texas high school cheerleader, goes like this:

“Barack Obama has viscously attacked John McCain and his family fur [sic] being successful and living the American dream. . .”

Let’s see; “viscously” is more than hyperbole; it’s a complete distortion, supposedly justified because an Obama ad dared to criticize a POW— who is so wealthy and out of touch he has no idea how many homes he actually lives in. But McStoopid wasn’t “attacked” for “being successful and living the American dream,” he was exposed for conspicuous consumption and wretched excess; do Republicans even know there’s a difference?

Buffy continues:

“But ask yourself this: If Obama cares so much about yur [sic] family, why doesn’t he take care of his own family first?”

Hypocrisy has become corporeal with Republicans; it roils out of them like rancid grease oozes out of a rotting boar. The recent disclosures of “only child” Cindy McCain’s half-sisters, written out of the family will (that’s a Republican value— screw your own children) is a sorry insight into the machinations of wealth as a weapon; not wealth as compassionate caring.

Why would a wealthy father not share his munnies with his own child? Why would Cindy (and John) McCain not “take care of [her] own family first?” Let the record show that Portalski is a Democrat.

The McCain campaign and Cindy McCain have been asked to comment or respond. Neither responded.

Trippin’ ‘Round the Horn of Hypocrisy

Around The Horn
What’s shakin’? Let’s take a trip around the Horn.

Hotdog USA Love

What kind of asshole has to be tortured before he learns to love his own c*nt-ry?? The John McCain type of asshole. In a Fox Noise interview with John McCain on March 13, 2008, McCain said, “I didn’t really love America until I was deprived of her company.” Unlike “John McNasty,” I didn’t have to become a POW before I learned to really love America. It happened when I was eight years old while eating my first ballpark hotdog at a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game.

Sound unfair? Does anyone really think McCain meant he never loved America until he was imprisoned by “the enemy”? Of course not. Just like Michelle Obama was proud of her country before her now beaten to death remark about not having been “really proud” of America until . . . And kudos to MSNBC nerdling Dan Abrams for drawing the comparison. He’s struck a blow against blatant hypocrisy.

But there’s so much hypocrisy, and so little time.

Stephen Elliot takes a look at Cindy McCain’s most recent round of hypocrisy impugning Michelle Obama’s patriotism by parroting, “All I know is that I’ve always been proud of my country.” Well, except for the three years or so she was fucked up on prescription drugs she stole from her own charity. Can you imagine the amount of foam around Sean Hannity’s ugly little pie-hole if that had been Michelle Obama?

So much hypocrisy, so little time.

That’s why the damage the original hypocrisy causes must still be combated. Vets who were slandered along with John Kerry by the lying sacks of shit who called themselves “Swift Boat Veterans for Truth” and were funded by, surprise— a Texas oil asshole with a big mouth to match his big wallet— who offered a million dollars to anyone who could prove any of their allegations false. Let’s see if T Bone Pickens will pay up or shut up. Read Sam Stein’s rundown here.

And it isn’t on just one side of the isle.

One hundred and five House Democraps and all the Republicants have finally made it easy to see which of them should have their asses handed to them when their current term is up; just see who voted to give the telecoms immunity today. We’ll see which Democratic senators need to be fired next week when the Senate votes on this travesty. No matter; crimes are crimes, and if our own government is too corrupt to hold these sleezeballs responsible for spying on the American people, justice will have to await a personal accounting in the next world. See how far your lies will take you there, you self-serving traitors.

Alright. I’ve had enough for today. I’ll be working on my tan.

Israel Appeases Syria

Last week in a speech before Israel’s parliament, The Knesset, George W. Bush implied that Barack Obama was a terraist appeaser for his willingness to talk to evil doers like Iran and Syria. His foreign policy clones, John McSame and his Svengali adviser, Joe LIEberman immediately piled on, citing Barack’s inexperience and naiveté.

One has to wonder how they feel now that its been revealed that Israel is actively pursuing a peace agreement with Syria. And with Hamas, via the government of Egypt.

Or that Qatar has negotiated a deal between the government of Lebanon and the terraist Hizbollah to end its takeover of Beirut, on terms quite favorable to Hizbollah.

How about the vital role the government of Iran had in brokering a cease fire with the Shi’ites in the two month old explosion of violence in Basra and Sadr City in Iraq?  Not to mention its previous help in dislodging the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Then there’s the fact that the Bush Administration has negotiated an end to the nuclear weapons programs in of Libya and that charter member of the Axis of Evil, North Korea. And continues negotiations with Iran to reduce the overall level of violence in Iraq. Can you spell hypocrisy?

What are the war mongers to do, now? Well, they can always attack Iran before the election, capitalizing on the historical reluctance of the American people to change war horses in mid stream. Seemed to work in the 2004 elections.

I mean, wouldn’t you want an PTSD crazed experienced war hero like McSame, who did his level best to bomb the Vietnamese into the Stone Age, in the role of Commander in Chief? As opposed to, say, a wimp like Obama who thinks the willingness to talk is a sign of strength and not weakness?

To accept the Obama approach to foreign policy is to reject the neocons‘ glorious vision of the New American Century. How can the USA realize her manifest destiny to dominate the world (and its diminishing natural resources) during this unique unipolar moment in history if we allow other countries to play anything more than a supporting role in remaking that world in our own triumphant image?

To accept an Obama presidency would be a rejection of Biblical prophecy, at very best a delay in the apocalypse and the rapture! Wasn’t the US founded in part to destroy Islam, as John McCain’s (now rejected) “spiritual guide” Rod Parsley maintains ?

I’ll leave it the 20th century bard, Bob Dylan, to describe the moral and diplomatic bankruptcy of the last 7 1/2 years of the McSame approach to international diplomacy:

There’s no success like failure
and. . . failure is no success at all.

LIPSTICK ON A PIG RELIGION

Radical Preacher and Pig Religionist, John Hagee

Blogging at the Nation, John Nichols shared the following remarks of radical preacher John Hagee regarding Hurricane Katrina and the city of New Orleans’ “sinful” acceptance of homosexuality:

“What happened in New Orleans looked like the curse of God…” Hagee explained after the city experienced a national disaster that cost at least 1,836 lives – making it the deadliest hurricane in American history – and permanently dislocated tens of thousands of Americans from not just their homes but the communities of their birth and upbringing.

“Hurricane Katrina was, in fact, the judgment of God against the city of New Orleans” Hagee told NPR’s Terry Gross in a 2006 interview. What was God judging? “New Orleans had a level of sin that was offensive to God,” said McCain’s backer, who explained that “there was to be a homosexual parade there on the Monday that the Katrina came.”

Blaming homosexuals for the deadliest hurricane in history is a textbook example of the precepts of Pig Religion in action. This sort of self-indulgent, self-righteous bigotry is the inevitable result of an ignorant and slavish commitment to the fetish word of authority, and has become the hallmark of Pig Religion.

Pig Religion is, above all else, a fetish religion, above even the love of God; but most practitioners of Pig Religion are almost completely lacking in any understanding of fetishism as the single most damaging aspect of their own religion. In order to understand how such a strange and perverse practice evolved, we must journey back a long way to its roots.

“Hagee and all fetishists are hypocritically betraying themselves “into the clutches of bigotry, fanaticism, superstition, [and] intolerance” through their willing embrace of the doctrinal fetish of the Bible as the infallible word of God.”

Our primitive ancestors made anything extraordinary into a fetish. A man gets sick, something weird happens, he gets well— must’ve been that delicious cow pie he ate for dinner last night. [Read more →]
