And I totally agree about hand holding; I was a Victim’s Advocate for a few years; and that first few hours is a critical time for support, and helps most people get over protracted grief much better.

I sure hope you are right about that. There are too many who suffer and too few who care. Just holding some one’s hand or even listening does most people who suffer a world of good. It can change their lives.
