The Loon Ranger & Taunto

…And a hearty, Hi ohhhhhhh Siiiiiiiiiiillllllllllllllllllvverrrrrr!!!
To really see the Tea Bags, you must click it.

My drinking buddy, who shall remain nameless, gets dangerously giddy when contemplating a Republican presidential ticket of “the Teabag Bitches.”  It’ll be “Teabagageddon!” he says, laughing hysterically and spraying beer all over the table. He says it was inevitable that the two craziest Republican women on the continent (not scientifically determined) would gravitate to one another, kinda like a fly to feces;  because these two shit-for-brains, opportunistic Mustelidae are made for each other.  To wit:

Notice how Seany double-dipped the Tea Baggers for applause?
And yew betcha, Sara’s right— it is in God’s hands.

“How’s that Hopey-Changey thing workin’ out fur ya?”

—Sarah Palin

Great!  And how’s that Dopey-Hatey thing workin’ out for you?
—Michael Hart

TeaBag types easily convinced themselves “the libruls are scared shitless of Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann” out of a fear they are actually formidable opponents, electable to the presidency, and will ultimately take back from the “libruls” their political and cultural power;  power they lost through the accumulative real-world results of decades worth of inferior Republican policy decisions, which culminated in the disastrous Dick-Bush debacle;  from which we are still struggling to recover.

When “Taunto” Palin snarks out, “How’s that Hopey-Changey thing workin’ out fur ya?” she has no real comprehension of how ridiculous she sounds to the majority of Americans who understand that “hope” and “change” are part of the essential dynamics of everything that is true, beautiful, and good in reality;  not just America’s particular dreams and aspirations as a nation.

The short version is this:  the nuanced difference between fear (which rules all they know) and intelligent, wise concern (what they lack) is simply incomprehensible to them.

Rather is the folksy, dysphemistic-laced stupidity that passes for leadership-level intellect among the far right, completely incapable of understanding that Progressive America’s concern over their so-called “leaders” is based on the recognition that they genuinely threaten America—and real American values.

The demonstrably phony hollow core of lies that has become the Republican Party’s public facade can no longer be allowed to go unchallenged. The gross and ever-growing hypocrisy of Republicans/Teabags must be exposed each and every time they try to float a new turd in their Fox News toilet bowl of public discourse.

“He’s dreaming of a world that he wishes would exist.”
— Michele Bachmann, indicting Barack Obama for his stance on reducing nuclear weapons

The Tea Bag Republicons are on a quest to once again rule the “America” they want to “take back.”  They need their asses handed to them in a way that incontrovertibly crushes their insane and haphazard ideology once and for all.  That’s why it’s not only reasonable, but necessary, to see these two shrill ignoramuses exposed to the entire electorate as the colossal fools they are.  Nothing will do that faster than the two of them attempting to run together on a Republican-Tea Bag Ticket. They are the Peter Principle of Politics, finally come home to roost.  And such a devastating loss and rejection of the failed ideology of traditionalists and teh crazee cannot help but launch America on a more progressive and truer direction as a nation in a 21st century world.

The backward and erroneous ideas of Christianity— especially as they are embraced and espoused by Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin— are now threatening to destroy the very things they seek to maintain.  They not only lack the true vision our leaders must have in order to solve our many intractable problems, but their several erroneous religious ideas make them extremely dangerous and unqualified to lead America.

While this is not a “Christian Nation” they way Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann insist, America is inextricably linked to the real teachings of Jesus, and they are not going away— ever.  There has never been a more important need for all religion, and especially Christianity, to embrace real hope and positive change; not ridicule it.  The real hope of today’s Christianity is that it should cease to sponsor the social systems and policies of Western civilization, while it humbly bows itself before the cross it so valiantly extols, so that it can learn anew from Jesus of Nazareth the greatest truths mortal man can ever hear — the living gospel of the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of all mankind.

Urantia society can never hope to settle down as in past ages. The social ship has steamed out of the sheltered bays of established tradition and has begun its cruise upon the high seas of evolutionary destiny; and the soul of man, as never before in the world’s history, needs carefully to scrutinize its charts of morality and painstakingly to observe the compass of religious guidance. The paramount mission of religion as a social influence is to stabilize the ideals of mankind during these dangerous times of transition from one phase of civilization  to another, from one level of culture to another.
