WASHINGTON D.C. — Like many things emanating out of Washington, the notion that the town was originally “built on a swamp” isn’t based on fact, or truth. That does not prevent the rapacious liars now infesting it from eschewing all fact and truth from their daily defamations.
41% of Donald Trump supporters support the bombing of the city of “Agrabah.” Unfortunately for them, the strategic value of same would be nil, since Agrabah was the capital of Princess Jasmine’s homeland in the animated Disney cartoon, “Alladin.” Ted Cruz voters prefer it be carpet bombing, to see if they could “make the sand glow in the dark.”
While never really a Letterman junkie, “Late-Night” for me was usually finishing a strip while he was on, so I became a de facto regular viewer. Oh, yeah, and Dave was brilliant.
